You can find us in the old town of Ciutadella de Menorca , in front of the Caixabank and the cultural center, Calle des Seminari, n°10 . It's a "Take away" store: self-service fridge if you're in a hurry ;-), order at the bar for sandwiches and hot dishes, coffee and drinks, delicatessen, local products and "gifts" corner... You can also take advantage of our products on site, with free access to our WIFI #cototowifi (Attention, we do not have restroom!)

Choose the  "Click&Collect" online or "Call & Collect"  by Whatsapp message, and save time!

In this case you have priority: go directly to the checkout, you won't have to wait in line.

Reserve your backpack-cooler to keep your picnic fresh during the excursion. Yes,... we lend it to you!! There is only a deposit of 50 euros that we will return to you when you come back. We also sell ice cubes bags.

Next to the menu, we offer today's specials (dishes, focaccia, cold soups, desserts...)

OUR HISTORY

In 2015, a new life started in Menorca

Hello! We are Franck and Valérie.

Franck: "At the end of the 1980s, I studied in the culinary school of Toulouse. First, I was hired in luxury hospitality on the Côte d'Azur, then I spent thirteen years in St Martin (a Caribbean island), Miami and Andorra, before returning to my birthplace, always creating restaurants with elaborate and tasty food with attentive service in the dining room (my first profession)."

Valérie: "I studied communication and graphic design at the Visual Expression school in Toulouse (also!). In 1995, I created my communication studio which will exist for 20 years.

In 2006, simultaneously , I graduated in Tourism to start a change of life. In 2012, I became a "restaurateur" with the professional support of Franck and we decided to create a restaurant together in the small town where we live."

In 2015, we sold the restaurant we had in the south-west of France, between Toulouse and Albi, to live and create a new personal and work adventure on the island of Menorca.

Having spent the winter preparing our picnics for excursions on the "Camí de Cavalls", we found the idea for our unique concept ;-)

The word "pique-nique" has a bit of a peculiar pronunciation if you're not French, so we chose "piqniq" to keep that French touch and make it easy for people of all nationalities.
